Using a small paint brush, I carefully applied the etching cream to each dot making sure to cover it with a thick coat but not getting any outside the tape.I looked over all the holes to make sure the edges were smooth and the holes were totally open. After all the tape pieces were applied, I wiped down the glass with a microfiber cloth to remove any finger prints and debris.You will want to space your tape pieces based on the size of the glass you are working with. The next row I placed so that the dots offset with the top row and then I could follow the pattern for the remaining rows. I measured down 1/2 inch from the lip of the glass to start and then placed the tapes pieces so that the holes were 1 1/4 inches apart. I started with a row at the top of the glass and worked my way down. Apply the tape pieces to your glass in your desired pattern.I found punching them sticky side up worked best because I could easily push any ragged edges out the front so the tape would lay flat against the glass. Using your scissors, cut 1/2 inch wide pieces of painter’s tape.Remove any tags from your wine glasses and thoroughly wash and dry them making sure there is not residue left on the glass.Here is what I came up with:Ĥ stemless wine glasses (I got mine at the dollar store!) I was lucky enough to get a few of these amazing crystal pieces as wedding gifts. Eek! So when I first saw the Larabee Dot Collection from Kate Spade I was totally in love.
